"To Him who loves us, and..." "Jesus loves you" has become a trite phrase, partly because it's simple enough to be twisted by those who do not love you. "To Him who loves us, and has freed us from our sins by his blood," at least gets us started toward understanding divine love. That blood is the most precious element in the universe; it's the only thing that could "free us from our sins."
